We’re into spoopy season, so for the month of September Kris will be posting ‘Linen, Leeks and Blood,’ a mini-prequel-of-sorts to the (unfinished) Tatterhood tale. Every Tuesday and Thursday a new LLB page will go up. If you liked her other viking comics such as The Corpse Door and Trolls, you’ll probably enjoy this.
Linen, Leeks and Blood was first printed in ‘The Witching Hours,’ a comic anthology brewing with stories about witches and magic, written and illustrated by 11 women and non-binary artists. It’s a beautiful duo-tone book, filled with comics that range from fantasy to horror to slice-of-life, conjured up by a coven of incredibly talented creators from British Columbia and published by local The Cloudscape Comics Society.
